The RWRIN poster entitled “Reckoning with Racism in Nursing: Exploring Trauma, Flourishing and Anti-Racism Justice in Nursing” and team haiku were presented at the 2023 Mind and Life Summer Research Institute in June. The poster included; the practice of Reckoning with Racism in Nursing, an analysis of the thematic video creations to date, and theorized ways contemplative practices in storytelling and listening can help process racialized trauma, buffer its toxicity, promote resilience and how this project is a way of being change together as restorative social and existential justice.
