Wanda Montalvo

Dr. Montalvo is an innovative nurse leader and Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, with an established track record of leading national initiatives to advance solutions aimed at decreasing disparity, nursing scholarship, and translating research into practice. She has worked with federally qualified health centers, trade associations, federal agencies, academia, and philanthropy, allowing her to maintain a broader inclusive world view. At the federal level, her work was recognized by two Surgeons General, one for childhood asthma, and the second for childhood obesity.
