Shermel is a medical-surgical nurse with over 14 years of experience in education and over 9 years of experience in nursing, specializing in adult and geriatric populations. Shermel brings experience, care, and extensive knowledge from the bedside to improve student educational outcomes. She provides training and development of nursing students, newly hired and new graduate nurses, and leads and supports performance improvement and evidence-based practice projects.
